What Is a Teach Haiti Ambassador?
A Teach Haiti Ambassador is someone who believes in our mission and shares Teach Haiti’s story through their personal networks. You don’t need to be a major donor, Haiti expert, or professional fundraiser. All you need is to be passionate about education as a catalyst for transforming lives. Your voice reaches people we never could. People trust recommendations from friends more than any advertisement!
What You’ll Do (2-4 hours/month)
Social Sharing
Share 2 social posts each month. We provide pre-written posts with graphics. It takes about 2 minutes.
Email Friends & Family
Use the email templates we will provide and send an email to your network of friends and family. Or, forward monthly impact e-newsletter updates to 3-5 friends who you think would be interested.
Networking & Gatherings
Mention Teach Haiti naturally when education or missions come up in a conversation.
Host coffee meet-ups, ask your church to host an information meeting to help recruit ambassadors.
What You Don’t Have To Do
- Become a Haiti expert
- Create your own content
- Ask people for money
- Commit to a specific donation amount
We provide everything. You just share and champion the cause.
Who Makes a Great Ambassador?
First and foremost, you are moved by Teach Haiti’s impact and want to help beyond giving financially. It also helps if you are:
- Active on social media
- Comfortable talking about causes you care about
- Want to make a difference but have limited time
- Love connecting people
You don’t need to check every box. If you’re passionate about our mission, you’ll be great.
